Although the vegan cakes were clearly marked, there was only one option available on the day of our visit. They did offer soy milk upon request, which was served in a different shaped milk jug to differentiate it from dairy milk. However, my plate was garnished with a swirl of dairy cream and berries, which was a bit misleading for a vegan dish. Overall, while it's great to see a tea room offering vegan options, they still have some room for improvement in understanding and catering to vegan customers. I would have rated them 2.5 stars.

Despite clear labeling, there was only one option for vegan cake available on the day of our visit. It seems they sometimes offer more choices, but you may need to make a reservation to access the full selection. They were able to accommodate our request for soya milk, and even used a different milk jug to distinguish it from dairy milk, which was a thoughtful touch. However, they still garnished my plate with a swirl of dairy cream and berries, which was a bit of a letdown. Although it was separate from the cake, I could easily ignore it. It's a good step to have a tea room that offers vegan options, but it seems they are still working on fully grasping the concept. I would rate them 2.5 stars.

They also used a different shaped milk jug to clearly distinguish between dairy and non-dairy options, which was a nice touch. However, I was taken aback when my plate was decorated with a swirl of milk cream alongside my vegan slice of cake. While the cream was separate from the cake, it was a standard presentation that might mislead unsuspecting customers into thinking it was vegan-friendly. Overall, it is a positive step to have a tea room with vegan options in the area, but it seems like they are still ironing out the details. I would have rated them 2.5 stars based on my experience.
