My friend and I visited Cedar Point from New York. We were in Norwalk and found this jewel of a diner and ate there both morning. It's a super sweet place like a house turned restaurant. Coming from NYC there are not many places like this, so it was a treat. The service was super friendly and the prices and the food were unbeatable! View all feedback.
What Callie Ward doesn't like about Star Diner:
The girl who seated us was not friendly at all. Very abrupt. The girl who brought us our food was nice. We both ordered an omelette, one of us had a half omelette ,with hash browns and toast. Our toast was not toasted and overloaded with margarine. The omelettes were ok. On the third small side. The hash browns were good. One of us had water and the other had a soft drink. Friendly service and good home cooking. One the better breakfast steaks I've had, thick and cooked to order not thin and over cooked. And good omelet.
Good food, generous portions, comfy, homey atmosphere . Server was efficient and friendly. Prices were reasonable.
A staple when visiting back home. It's been spruced up since last we were here (9 years ago but it's still the same in feeling. So happy to have been back! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Super fast service. Friendly people. Excellent food
Food was delicious, place was clean (including restrooms) and service was great! One of my favorite spots to eat!
First time eating here since we are from Colorado. And wow, the food was sooooo good.
