Description
**Sails: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
At Sails, patrons find themselves divided in their dining experiences. Some rave about the delicious, creatively prepared dishes, complemented by friendly staff and a charming atmosphere. Celebratory occasions bask in the warmth of attentive service and cozy outdoor seating.
However, inconsistencies mar the overall reputation. Occasional rudeness from the hostess, coupled with slow service and cramped seating, undermine the experience. High prices for modest portions have also raised eyebrows. While some leave eager to return, others express disappointment in both service and food quality. Ultimately, Sails offers potential for great meals, but it’s an inconsistent journey.

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly. We usually sit at the bar, and there are times when I come here on my own when I don’t feel like cooking for just myself.

It was a refreshing change from our usual spots. The food was tasty, and the service was attentive. Parking in the side lot can be a bit challenging. Rowayton is a charming location. Overall, a great experience!
I'm not quite sure how a restaurant can mess up a lobster roll, but Sails managed to do just that. When I could actually find the lobster in my roll, it was overcooked and dry—just awful. The tables were crammed together, making it uncomfortable, and the noise level was the loudest I've ever encountered in a dining setting. To top it off, the service was lacking. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, and we certainly won't be returning.
