A great addition to the village, love the home cooked food. Very quiet pub but thought we'd try for Sunday lunch, 6ppl. Great decor inside, seems recently refurbished. Food was outstanding! The Sunday 3-roasts to share was incredible. Beautifully displayed on a board. Pork belly, beef and chicken cooked to perfection. Giant yirkies, stuffing loaf, veg and amazing cauliflower cheese. Burger and rump steak also brilliant. Surprised it was so quiet as excellent pub, lovely decor, fab food and fair prices. Perhaps they need some marketing and promotions to get people in. Can't fault it in any respect. Food is always of a high standard. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking at the rear off Wallerscote Road. Access either by the double doors straight into the dining area or through the side door. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
