Guests consistently praise the delicious food and welcoming environment, highlighting standout items like the Full English breakfast and lentil soup. While many enjoy friendly and accommodating service, some have experienced delays and inconsistency, particularly during busy times. The café embraces a pet-friendly atmosphere, though families with young children have noted a lack of attention at times. Despite these mixed service experiences, the overall consensus remains positive, making it a favored spot for both casual visits and special occasions.
This is a handcrafted bakery, coffeeshop and newsagent. I went to lunch on november, it is worth booking a table as it is very busy. the prices.
Absolute must visit this place. the booking is quite important. we didn't do it and they managed to squeeze us, but people who came after us.
Had a voucher to use so we went for lunch here. We both had the special lentil soup, sarnie and cake. Soup delicious. Exceptional value. Staff are so very friendly and helpful. Always a great experience here.
Visited twice during our stay in Felton last week. First for afternoon coffee and cakes and then a full breakfast on the morning of our departure (Five of us) This place is brilliant. The drinks and food are of the highest quality and the decour lovely. Daisy and her team deserve a medal for the effort they put in... thank you Daisy. We are already thinking of returning to Felton for a spring break, the Running Fox would definately be high on our visit list next time round. A five star establishment and staff!
Poor service today at Felton, which has never been a problem in the past food was lovely as usual, but we waited so long to have plates cleared and were never asked if we wanted anything else. We got a takeout instead as tea had gone cold .
