Thanks from the STSS girls.

Given the fact that the village I expected is overflowing with tourist in the season I can see the hermitage doing ok but we found it cold in terms of atmosphere and once it was not chosen to return. no evidence of what is so always of codified reduction processes. people at the bar and no one wear masks.
We had a fantastic night watching the live music, everyone was up dancing and the atmosphere was brilliant. We had food and it was lovely! Vicky has really brought the pub back to life and we look forward to coming back again very soon for the live acts.. we do come most sundays for lunch as it is delicious and best around the area highly reccommend.. great place to visit! Great food and drink, lovely friendly staff, very clean and cosy.. its definatley worth a visit
Went to the hermitage on a Friday night for food with friends and was not disappointed, had the homemade steak pie chips and peas and was delicious, great value for money
The Hermitage Inn is a traditional coaching inn located on the main street. As you enter, the main bar is divided into two sections. The right side is a lively bar area where locals often gather for friendly conversation, while the left side is a quieter area preferred by those dining or enjoying a tea or coffee. Up a short flight of stairs, there is an intimate overflow restaurant for busy times and a larger restaurant/function area. The food menu offers typical pub grub prepared fresh by a talented young chef. Sunday lunch times feature a popular carvery, so reservations are recommended. Prices are lower than nearby competitors. The pub offers a variety of drinks, including real ales served at competitive prices. The friendly and polite staff, mostly mature, provide excellent service. The Hermitage Inn is the best and most welcoming pub in Warkworth. Give it a visit!
