My partner and I decided to stop by without a reservation and had a delightful experience enjoying tea and cakes while chatting with Anne and John. The place was charming and the people were lovely. Highly recommend! xx
I was pleasantly surprised to discover Phoenix Cycle Cafe in Hedley on the Hill while planning a bike ride. This charming little village is located atop a hill and the cafe perfectly blends in with its surroundings. The cafe's grounds are not only beautifully landscaped but also offer stunning views of the region. The owners have truly created a hidden gem for all to enjoy. The menu may be simple, offering bacon sandwiches, scones, cakes, and various hot and cold drinks, but it was more than enough to fuel our group of riders. Whether you're a walker, cyclist, or simply looking for a nice spot to relax with a drink, this cafe is perfect for everyone. I can't wait to visit again!
We stopped by this bicycle-themed cafe today on a whim and we're glad we did. Owners John and Ann gave us a friendly welcome and it's obvious they've put a lot of care into the planning and design of their business. The amenities for cyclists are top-notch, including secure bike racks, water and air stations, indoor and outdoor seating, and a diverse menu featuring homemade scones and cakes. We will definitely be back.
