The food at this restaurant was terrible - it was inedible, disgusting, and served cold. The baguette was stale and tough, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. Even the children's meal was stone cold.
We paid £17.00 for two slices of cake, one brownie, and two coffees. The brownie was decent but the Victoria sponge cake and carrot cake were terrible. The coffees were stale and overly sweet, which didn't help. Overall, not worth the money.
We arrived at 2pm hoping to have lunch, but we found the place to be terrible. The tables and floor were dirty, and the bins were overflowing. They had run out of chips, chicken, and sandwiches. The food we managed to eat was disgusting.
REALLY needs clarity on the hot food options. No menu displayed until 12, by which point a large queue was forming. Pizza was available (order at a separate counter, pay in main Hot Food queue but again no menu. £9 or £10 per pizza (large enough for an adult, 12 or 14 year old, 4 options for toppings , no signage for the meal deal which we only found out about once we reached the front of the (did I say long? queue. Hot food menu appeared behind the counter, some reasonably priced options (e.g. pulled pork loaded fries £5.95, plate of fries £2.60 on it. Would have ordered differently had we known what was on offer.
