Kielder 2 - Northumberland

This is the best fish and chips we've ever had in this area. It's always our first choice when we're in town. The portion sizes are generous and there's no grease left on the plates.

I frequently visit this chip shop and I always have to wait for my order. However, the food is definitely worth the wait! It is cooked to order, fresh, and piping hot.

I came back to this restaurant after a couple of years of ordering from another local shop that has been declining in quality. I'm glad I did because I had been getting used to bland fish and mediocre chips for the past 2 years. It was a delight to have proper fish and chips again, served the way they should be. The portions of fresh fish in light, crispy batter were generous, and the chips were among the best I've had. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the recent price increases across the UK. There may be a wait, especially during lunchtime, but it is definitely worth it. As of now, they only accept cash, not cards.

We ordered delivery 3 hours before and it was still 45 late no answer at the shop after ringing 5-6 times. Also when it came it was cold.the fish was mainly batter,they got the order completely wrong and missed the chip off it but still charged for them again tried to ring another 3 times the worst fish shop around

Been going to this fish and chip shop for years. The standards have never dropped. Quality fish, great portions at reasonable prices. Why go further a field when on your doorstep is one of the best in the area.
