Love meeting my friend from Morpeth here as it is half way between our homes. No hassle with parking and a great little gem of a garden centre where I always find well hardened off plants. The cafe is relaxed and pleasantly decorated, the food really nice and staff friendly- however it would be just perfect if it got onto the recent bandwagon of welcoming well behaved dogs! Dogs are the new 'grandchildren ' and often I have to suggest meeting at somewhere much less pleasant because it is impossible to leave the dogs in the car. Dog friendly cafes are definitely beginning to get the edge on gett the silver pound! And I have never been disturbed by anyone else 's dog on my travels! So here 's hoping.
The coffee is hot and delicious, the cakes are tasty, and the staff is friendly. There is parking available outside the restaurant.
I had a delicious ham and cheese panini at this restaurant today with my kids. The coffee was excellent, and if you're a fan of hot chocolate, this is the perfect place for you!
We tried the ham panini and found it to be delicious and very satisfying. The chocolate cake was also fantastic, especially with the amazing butter icing. And our teacher really enjoyed her coffee as well!

It serves a good range of cold and hot drinks including teas, excellent coffee and hot chocolate, plus a varied menu of casual meals. One can choose from light meals including soup, jacket potatoes, a good selection of baguettes, sandwiches and paninis and a delicious array of scones, cakes and tray-bakes most of which are home-made. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and friendly. It is an excellent place to pop into for a light meal or coffee and one can of course enjoy looking around the Garden Centre whilst there. There is ample parking right outside the front door of the Garden Centre.
