Fountain Cottage Cafe Tearoom

Very pleased to have found this beautiful caffe after a long day of going to the otterburn ranges. I had a very tasty moving mountains burger with fries, salat and coleslaw and finished it with a piece of "jaffa cake". the team was very welcoming, the service was fast and I can see that we are going back easily when we are close to bellingham.

We happen to have after a blackboard advertisement the caffe that said it was dog friendly and had vegan ices perfect! it turned out to be a nice clean, bright caffe with a good amount of vegan options. the menu says that they have vegan sausages and vegan cheese so that most of the breakfast items can be made vegan. two of our group ordered sausage and beans toasties and were pleased that they came with chips and vegan koleslaw. it is also opened some evenings with moving bergen burger and pizzas on the menu. we went to dinner and the burgers and pizza were great. the only dessert option was a folding jacket that we decided to take away and to the breakfast next day. they were amazing, can not remember what they were called, but delicious, moist, with pistachios, other nuts and fruits and embroidered with chocolate chips and flowers. so beautiful and very tasty! updated by previous review on 2021-09-02

I'm looking for something you can take for a walk. Staff quickly led us to a delicious vegan CLT (cheese, salad and tomatoes) sandwich with Mayo. They packed it comfortably in Cling film, instead of in a well sealed tub of vegan Koleslaw also. Very delicious and delicious sandwiches and just £4.00 per. EDIT: Today again eaten and eaten. Had cheeseburgers with vegan Coleslaw, Pommes and Mayo. Had chocolate cake and a chocolate ice cream for afters. Everything was in the place, delicious. Updated by previous rating on 2023-03-23

We had 3 vegan orders on our table. A sausage and cherry bean pan and a vegetable doll and vegan cheese panini. Both came with vegan Coleslaw and side salad and chips. The third meal was a full-day vegan breakfast. All three meals were good quality, good price and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were a number of articles on the menu that could be either veganally labeled or customized, e.g. everything with sausage or cheese could be a vegan version. Also a vegan chocolate cake was on the menu, but I was too full!

An extensive menu with many vegan options. I had the CLT (basket cheese, salad and tomatoes) that came with vegan cola and potato wedge. It was very delicious and also absolutely huge and was less than £6. I also had some chocolate vegan ice cream.
