We were on a walk in the Berwick area and in need of mid-walk refreshments. We'd had a gander round the cafes and tea rooms in the town centre however they all looked rather busy and were about to give up when we stumbled upon Fantoosh which looked nice and calm. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the ambience was very relaxing. There was a small but reasonable choice of cakes on offer. I had a generous slice... View all feedback.
What davidrX5064VM doesn't like about Fantoosh:
Have visited this cafe in the past and it was vey good. Tried 2 or 3 times recently and it has always been closed at 3.15 pm even though there are people inside. Have now given up and go elsewhere! View all feedback.
The very definition of a cosy relaxed cafe decorated in homely fabrics and with friendly staff with the most gorgeous cakes freshly made by the owner. Fully vegetarian light bite menu also looked lovely. Only about 8 tables and a couple of sofas but a welcoming vibe. We shall be back...the chocolate and walnut cake makes the journey from Wooler well worthwhile !
If you're searching for incredibly tasty cakes in a cozy cafe located in the heart of Berwick, you should definitely check out this place. Thank you!
We came across this tearoom after leaving the car park, it is located along side the city wall at one end. The staff were friendly and busy. They bake the cakes on site and the smell was wafting through the shop, anything to get the taste buds working overtime! It was a good cup of coffee and the cheese scone, which had just come out of the oven, was delicious. It was a shame couldn't go back for lunch but time didn't allow us to.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the ambience was very relaxing. There was a small but reasonable choice of cakes on offer. I had a generous slice of coffee and walnut cake washed down with a massive pot of peppermint tea, which went down a treat, and the hubby had one of their quirky blueberry and lemon scones.
Comfy cafe. The home made cakes looked lush but I had a lovely goats cheese salad.. Fresh, tasty and filling. The menu had a host of interesting salads and sandwiches
