Alnwick Castle - Northumberland

The lock outside is simply beautiful, it is not a surprise that film scenes are filmed in their environment. Many great tours. we intend to return our annual passports. great interiors as well as views from the castle and the landscape surrounding the area. it is great to come back to see how the flower display develops. well a walk around the area around the castle itself.

We brought our children and had a great time. Make sure to drive to the castle and garden parking – they also have rv and bus parking places. the besenkurse and drachenquest are free to enter and very much fun for the children. the archery is paid, but was fun and very well run.

Great day outside. the castle is beautiful and the story is very interesting. the only part is the adult entrance fee of £19.50 for a 2, maybe 3 hours day when they press it. the tickets are anual passports, so its handy presupposes that they live near to use it often. the garden is not included in this ticket price, either as its now a separate venue. all his visit worth.
