A Corvi Fish - Northumberland

Called in here as we wanted fish and chips for dinner and we'd read the reviews on Tripadvisor. We weren't disappointed the fish was really fresh, with proper chips and mushy peas. Don't normally do reviews but decided to leave one this time as it was the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. Would definitely go back there on another visit to Berwick upon Tweed. As others have said, the staff were really friendly too.

The fish and chips, along with the mushy peas, are truly fantastic at this lovely café. The local staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a must-visit dining spot for anyone in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

We stopped by one late afternoon whilst visiting Berwick for a couple of hours and had a take away to eat by the river. The fish was cooked to order and my wife and I both agreed that it was one of the best fish and chips we have ever had! The fish and batter was light, tasted particularly fresh, and the chips were perfect the service was very friendly too. I don't write that many reviews, but this restaurant certainly deserves praise (we even contemplated a 1 hour drive later in the week, just for another meal)!
