The prices here are quite high. The ice is good, but it's something you can find elsewhere for half the price. The churro is $6 for just one, which is smaller than the ones from Costco. While it is fresh, it wasn't cooked long enough. The outside had a slight crispiness, but the inside was too soft—almost overly soft. The flavors were decent, but the texture of the churro didn't justify the price. I only tried the ch... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Funnel House:
The restaurant offers very generous portions, definitely not meant for just one person. I ordered the churro sundae, which was good, but the serving size was overwhelming. I struggled to finish my meal, as it was just too much. The sundae comes with two scoops of ice cream and two churros, and it costs around $15. I would recommend bringing a friend to share the portions! View all feedback.
Stay away if you have allergies! Just got a funnel cake from there and my son specifically asked if Nutella has nuts in it and they said No!! It actually has nut in the name and a picture of a hazelnut on the packaging! This place needs to properly train their employees on what products they serve and what they contain.
Delicious funnel cake made fresh. The Churro was tasty too also made fresh. A nice alternative when you're looking for something sweet to eat. They have some yummy tweets!
Worst desert place I've ever been to. First this place tries to be cute but it just looks like a 90s food court. The funnel cake was soggy and not good. The brownie Sundae was disgusting. The brownie was dry and I actually think they forgot to include sugar, it was like a low calorie brownie. The ice cream was tasteless. 0/100, not good.
Poor service. I was the only person in the store except for 2 guests who were already sitting down and finishing up their food. I waited in line patiently for several minutes and there was a person up front frying some churros the entire time. Eventually, without even bothering to look up at me they mumbled something and went back to frying. The guests who were seated got up to leave and one guest said thanks! and good evening loudly to the cook and the guest was just ignored. It was very quiet so there was no way they didn 't hear them. After several more minutes of being ignored I walked out and left. I came to support this store after I heard they were robbed and unfortunately the person working there robbed them of a customer.
Really good late night snacks. They make everything you want really quick. Sweet and delicious. I recommend the ice cream and churros honestly.
