Was Crisamar Javellana Anunciado at Mamicon's a mag?
It can be difficult to find vegan food while traveling, so I was thrilled to discover this restaurant that offers a variety of vegan dishes. I highly recommend trying their vegan tacos - they are absolutely fantastic! View all feedback.
What Charity Oberbrunner dislikes about Mamicon's:
I went to this restaurant and was impressed by their extensive menu. I ordered some tacos and a pupusa. Unfortunately, everything I ate lacked flavor, the hot sauce was oddly sweet and spicy, and the slaw that came with the pupusa seemed out of place. It's a shame because the restaurant has great potential with its location and ambiance. They should work on advertising their best dishes and focus on quality rather th... View all feedback.

I was not expecting much from weak reviews but decided to give it a go. Glad I did! Service was great. Such a nice guy taking orders. I ordered 2 vegan tacos, 1 carne asada and 1 chorizo. Honestly, they were very good. Flavor nice on both. Added some very hot sauce. Wow.. they know what very hot means. They have so many other vegan options that I now hope to try.
Hits the spots when you want that family cooked authentic taste made to order freshness
I love mamicons. all vegan eating is good. I love the vegan chile relleno. I love the vegan wet burrito. I recommend this place.
Holy schmoley this place is *ridiculously* good--maybe better than the also-amazing El Cocinero. Probably 40 vegan menu items. Pina Colada: so sweet and creamy and delicious, 10/10. Al pastor taco: bursting with flavor, 10/10. Al pastor sope: oh my gosh the dough is delicious, like a savory funnel cake, 10/10. The refried beans are the creamiest I've ever had, 10/10. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the mole sauce, which was like 80% sweet 20% savory, and that's a bit too sweet for my taste. But everything was just so amazing--I can't wait to be hungry again and eating there again asap. Thank you!

I had a friend visiting from out of town, so we decided to try this restaurant because it is now fully vegan! The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The staff were also friendly. I work for HappyCow and was planning to give them a window decal, but they already had one. The only downside was the excessive amount of menu item photos posted near the counter, making it challenging to order. I would suggest they remove them and offer paper menus (laminated for dine-in or to-go) or online ordering only. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall with ample parking. Definitely worth a visit!
I had ordered from Mamicons a few years ago and thought it was okay, but I didn't run back there. I noticed they had gone all vegan and wanted to give them another try. I am so glad I did. The food was outstanding, a good value with lots of daily specials and the staff was friendly. The cafe is cozy, but I got my order to go. Please show them that going 100% vegan is good for business. Easy parking too!
