While many rave about the delectable sourdough bread, pastries, and attentive service, some diners reported issues with bland dishes and unresponsive staff. The diverse menu features crowd-pleasers like eggs and potatoes au gratin, tofu scrambles, and unique options like the English Butty. Diners appreciate the relaxed vibe, outdoor seating, and the absence of breakfast time limitations. While experiences vary, many agree on the quality of juice and the overall inviting ambiance, making it worth considering for brunch.
My girlfriend and I recently moved to the valley and have been trying out different brunch spots every Sunday. This restaurant is our favorite so far. The atmosphere feels cozy and the staff is very welcoming. My favorite dish has been the eggs and potatoes au gratin.
The tofu scramble and potatoes lacked flavor and we were unable to finish them. When we informed the waitress about the bland food, she simply walked away to fetch the check without addressing our concerns or offering any discount. Despite our plates still being full, she did not seem to care. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
My favorite weekend breakfast spot. I genuinely come here for the sourdough bread and their butter- the best I?ve ever had. Everything is so yummy and fresh. The pastries are wonderful. There?s outdoor patio seating with shade and plenty ofindoor seating with larger tables for big parties. The staff is always friendly and service is quick.
I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while now, and I am so happy that I finally did. My server, Warren, was absolutely fantastic. In fact, every staff member I encountered was friendly and helped create a great breakfast café ambiance. I decided to try the English Butty and it was delicious. Just a heads up, the habanero sauce packs quite a punch! I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.
After a sad, long absence, I returned to Humble Bee last week with the hopes that it would be just as wonderful as I remember. It totally was!!! Bigger, more comfortable, and with excellent service. And the food.... I got my old favorite, the Panwich aglorious concoction of eggs and cheese wrapped in a pancake and topped with mascarpone and spiced apple shreds I passed on thehouse-made turkey sausage but my friend enjoyed his! . The perfect blend of savory sweet, soft crunchy. My only regret isthis incredible dish doesn't photo well!
