What Denise Wegner doesn't like about Hart's Cafe:
This was our 3rd visit. First one was amazing food, drinks and service. 2nd time was in a Sunday and didn't know they only do a lunch menu so we couldn't order the boils and they didn't know how to make a whiskey sour. This visit the waiter was new, the place was SO hot and asked about it they finally turned the air on. It was 100 in Pueblo. And even though we ordered the Kings Boil and Queen Boil they came without all of the seafood in them. Very disappointing to say the least. When we questioned our waiter he had to go check and ask. Told they were out of some of the items. But mostly they forgot. No adjustment on our bill. We still tipped our waiter appropriately as most of this was not his fault. Doubt we will be back again for a while.
It took a long time to get our food. There were several tables more than one) that were dirty the tables, the floor around them, etc) when we walked in and were never cleaned up while we were there. It was very unappetizing. It was not so busy that they could have been cleaned up and it was just about closing time.

Made reservations, showed up 15 min early, seated immediately. Food came out quickly, server and waitstaff very friendly and attentive. We had the ribeye and bison steak and a couple apps. Everything was amazing!!! Will go back to sample more of their deserts as they all looked increible.
I was sadly disappointed 2 visits in a row. The watermelon radish salad was hardly a salad, but a soggy pile watermelon radish which I can only imagine that it was soaked in some sort of pickling liquid for some time, then served as is. The following week, I ordered the seafood dish. While the scallops were tasty, I experienced a similar issue with the broccolini that was to be served with, but came on the side absolutely drenched and soggy from a huge about of oil. It was not edible. The corn on the cob seemed like it sat out for days. I could not eat that as well. The sweet waitress told us she'd give the waiter feedback. We were not offered a comp on the bill or replacement vegetables. We plan to give this restaurant one more attempt to redeem their reputation with us. Bummed that we had to write this review, but we had higher hopes than these 2 visits.
