I recently enjoyed a delicious vegan almond cake and a large cup of coffee at this restaurant. During my last visit, I had a tasty vegan mushroom and spinach sandwich on freshly baked bread.
The desserts at this restaurant are to die for! They have 3 delicious vegan options: a chocolate cake, a teacake, and a cookie sandwich. Their menu is mostly vegan, with a few cheese-based options. Charming café with an impressive variety of treats available. The croissant was one of the best I've ever had, and the kids really enjoyed the small éclairs. I will definitely be returning!
If one asked me to name my top five guilty pleasures, no doubt french pastries would make their way into the list. Having tried out quite a few within Brisbane, there can be no question that Flour and Chocolate are one of the best in the business. With their little store on Morningside, I try to stop by every time I'm in the area, which unfortunately isn't that often. Fortunately for Adam, they opened up a second and far more bigger store at Northgate, a quick 15 minute train ride from his place, a grueling 2 hour trek from mine. But he was super keen and wanted to support the owners, so we went on opening day.
