What Kevin Carothers doesn't like about Taipei Tokyo:
Truly a disappointment. The food was not good, we ordered the black pepper beef and the ma po tofu. The black pepper beef only tasted like pepper and it greatly overwhelmed the beef. The Ma Po Tofu was the greater disappointment. It looked and tasted likeit was reheated. Additionally, there were no Szechuan peppercorns (crucial for a Chungdu dish) and the sauce was sweet like BBQsauce. My recommendation, drive the 10... View all feedback.
I already had sushi and it was okay. Although Osaka (located over the street) is a bit more expensive I think it tastes much better. Your food in general is okay, but I think the pricing reflects that. But the tendons are very friendly and this is always appreciated.
I love this place! I love the ones they deliver! One of my favorite things on a menu was seafood hot and sour soup, and I'm just so sad that they take it out of the menu!
