Mario's Pizza Shop - Northampton

I usually hesitate to give anything less than 5 stars because I understand how crucial Google ratings can be. However, I have to ask—Is this the same Mario's that was around before the lockdown? Are the owners still the same? The restaurant used to be outstanding, with the best kebabs in Bedford! Unfortunately, I’ve had kebabs from here twice recently, and I was quite disappointed. It just doesn't taste the same anymore. The service is excellent; I can't complain about that at all, but the food simply doesn't measure up to what it used to be—at least the lamb doner, which I always order. The place itself looks fantastic, with very attentive service, but the food needs improvement.

This is the best Turkish food I've ever tasted. The ingredients are fresh, and the chicken döner is absolutely amazing! It's definitely worth a try! I will definitely be returning!

Kalam offers excellent customer service, and Masud prepares delicious food. You definitely need to visit!

The pizza has always been great. I understand the impact of inflation and all that, but the price has increased too much to be reasonable.

My partner and I dine here from time to time, and we absolutely love it. The bruschetta pizza is my favorite - I’d rate it a 10 out of 10! Plus, the staff is really friendly.
