We were taken to this restaurant after Ballooning with Windward Ballooning for a Champagne Breakfast. We were not given any options for breakfast except vegetarian so I was interested to see what we would be served. We had a typical full breakfast - sausages, bacon, poached eggs, mushrooms, tomato and crusty toast. The toast was very hard to cut through the crust but otherwise very yummy. We also had fresh fruit and scones with jam and cream, 2 x juices and tea and coffee.Overall the breakfast was hot, filling and quite tasty.I am not sure on the pricing as the breakfast came with the Balloon experience but there were quite a few others who braved the cold morning and ate at the restaurant.
Paid for as part of the Windward Ballooning experience, breakfast was very enjoyable. Great location and atmosphere
We had a lovely look around the visitor centre and the couple of exhibits there at the moment - one for ballooning and one about the migrants in the 1940s-1950s. As the cafe is in the same building, we went there for a coffee. There was a reasonable choice of cakes/slices and we were told the cakes were home-made. The apple pie slices were large and tasty, especially as they were heated for us. The coffee - a flat white - was also reasonable. Prices were in line with what we expected. It was a Sunday afternoon when we were there, so there was a large choice of seating either indoors or outdoors overlooking the river and the start line of the Avon Descent.
