We decided to try the Northam Tavern for dinner after first looking at peoples posts on Trip Advisor of best places to eat in Northam. We were not disappointed in our meals. I had the scotch fillet and my partner the T-bone steak. The meals were large and the steaks were cooked to perfection and very tender. What User doesn't like about Northam Tavern:
We ordered our food and lunch arrived in a reasonable time. I chose the chicken toasted sandwich with chips. Chips were perfect but the chicken in the sandwich was not the best. It was frozen crumbed chicken. I was expecting proper chicken, not cardboard. The other meals my family ordered looked amazing. View all feedback.
The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Even the senior meals for our parents were a good size. The service is friendly and patient. The atmosphere has a classic country town feel.

The hot chips were fantastic and paired well with drinks. The portion sizes were decent for the price. The atmosphere was cozy and the toilets were clean. Overall, it was exactly what you would expect from a country pub. I would be happy to come back.
