Strikes is an excellently organized garden center, offering a wide variety of supplies for every type of gardener, from hobbyists to professionals. I found exactly what I needed with ease. The staff were friendly and eager to help. While I can't speak to their pricing, given the changes in the market since the pandemic, I was satisfied with what I paid for my purchases. What has happened to the cake selection? There are only three cakes to choose from, and it's the same selection each week. It would be great to have more variety. You used to offer delicious options like lemon and orange cake. Additionally, the portion sizes have decreased significantly, yet prices have increased. As a regular member, I am quite disappointed. Visited on hotest day of the month in June. Surprised by amount of items and offers. Not really into gardening, but other half spent a packet. In store food area has been updated and looks good, not sure about the cost for some products. Will visit again as we need another load. Have a look you be surprised what you may buy without realising you needed it.
The afternoon tea for 2 £30 is excellent value. The outside garden is lovely on a sunny day. Service was good too.
Great selection of plants multi buy pricing options, guarantee on the plants, plenty of staff around for advice should you need it. Some lovely not gardening items available, books , clothing , candles. Coffee shop was grand too ! Plants i bought are planted out and have taken well.
What a lovely cream tea experience! Chris (who was helping to serve) could not have been kinder or more attentive to my elderly friend and me. He helped to make it an enjoyable outing for us both. Thank you Chris!
Really nice products and a huge range to look around. The only issue is that the prices are a lot higher than similar things elsewhere? The restraunt is nice and the food and bakery items are top notch, and ots noticed that the staff work hard .
