Black Bull - Northallerton

We arrived at 1:45 PM, just fifteen minutes before we planned to eat, as a party of three adults and two children. I cannot express enough how fabulous the staff were—so welcoming and warm, it was truly extraordinary. The lasagna was the best I’ve ever had, and everyone else in our group also loved their meals. The youngest girl, who is ten, wanted a simple burger that wasn't on the children's menu, but the staff kindly accommodated her request and charged her the regular child’s price. Trying out a new restaurant for the first time can be a gamble, but this place is a must-visit, especially for a meal. Bravo to everyone!

As for our meals, two of my friends had the king prawns and the chicken, while I went for the hunch with Stilton sauce, and another friend ordered the lamb. Everything was delicious, beautifully cooked, and well-presented. The meals included some fantastic chips as well. We ended up sharing one dessert since we were full, opting for the chocolate Bailey cheesecake, which was a delightful treat. Overall, it was a lovely evening, and The Black Bull is definitely going to be our regular meeting spot!

We visited tonight to celebrate a birthday, and the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff was polite and courteous. One member of our party is gluten-free, and he was able to enjoy a three-course meal here, which he said was delightful. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

If they had recommended a nice meal in the black bull during their stay in roseacre glamping pods we would recommend it definitiw as a great place to eat. we had the black medallions and burgers, both cooked to perfection. beautiful atmosphere and service.

Had lunch here today, absolutely fabulous!... well cooked, well presented and super friendly service... will certainly be back
