A great place for a casual meal, or end-of-day pitstop with coworkers. We had the half and half platter with spicy and regular chicken. The portions were generous and the meat was tender (get the boneless!). The fried chicken is the real draw here, their egg rolls were plated well (we had the king cheese version) and tasty, but not spectacular. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Fry:
We had the soy garlic (felt it had too much batter), boneless spicy BBQ (tasted more like roasted and glazed with spicy BBQ sauce). Toppoki with spicy seafood was nice though a tad sweet. Sweet potato fries are good, esp the curry-flavored dip. The complimentary corn kernels are super good! We came here for a birthday dinner, so it wasn't quite what we expected. But for a quick bite it's ok... View all feedback.
I believed in korean fried huhn and found out that the fry was only 7 minutes to foot from our hotel in the city. I decided to order our favorite green wobble fried chicken for the exit. I was told I had to wait for 22 minutes. the yonge street big has dark interiors with walls dark blue lacquered and seats in black and wood. I took my waiting time and when the time was up, I saw a lady who was performing on a table-boxed command. I was told that they called my name once my order was done, but that didn't happen as 25 minutes ago, I went to the counter to follow my order, and along my order was already on the table with others. if I had not followed, I could have waited longer for my order. the fried chicken was as I expected it crispy and tasty, but they should make sure that wait customers are called when their orders are. there were only 4 customers in the restaurant when I was there and they were busy fulfilling only the deliveries.
One of my kumpels lives right next to this place and took my body to lunch. I gatta say that I am glad that this time I gave in peer printing, as I did not have the great food I had come back here
Small place, almost over. the place is very illuminated. we sat right away. the waitresses were fast and polite. we ordered the little ' (1/2 huh) huh with sauce and sweet potatoes. it came with complementary sides of mais, pikeln, kohl and koleslaw. what we have was more than 1/2 a huh. it was delicious and more than enough between us both would definitely come back. the only downer is that we have tried to pay with cash to get the 5% discount on the bill, but they do not have enough in the up to a $100 note.
My wife was obsessed with finding a good Korean chicken stable in toronto. we went to the old Korean city and asked us. found. very happy with dinner with son and daughter in-law. we'll be back to dinner tomorrow. Thank you.
I have had the chance to try some amazing friend chicken from all around the planet and this ranks among the best. Tangy, sweet and spicy, perfectly crispy and juicy, The Fry represents Korean style fried with aplomb. This is now my go to guilty...pleasure!
