Opening times said it was open but it was closed. Since it is a family business, I assume they had other priorities. So service is a 1 star for now because I wasn’t even able to get served, and from the what I could see from the window, the atmosphere is what you would expect from a shawarma restaurant. I don’t know the food tastes but will update my review once I get a chance to try their food. Giving them 4 stars f... View all feedback.
What Dave doesn't like about Shawarma Plus:
I've been here twice now, and can say that I am not a fan. I thought the hummus wasn't that good on my first visit, but when Osmow's, next door, was super busy I decided to give it another try.On the second visit, even though the place was not that busy, the staff rushed me, and didn't even give me options of sauces, and just added what they thought I would like. The shawarma did not look fresh. The pita definitely wa... View all feedback.
This was the worst shawarma I had in my life. The chicken was dry, seem days old chicken. Wasn’t seasoned as a shawarma. Was cheap with the parsley. Didn’t even taste like one. Don’t waste your money.
Used to be a fan of this place a few years ago. Tried recently, and was quite disappointed.First of all, my shawarma pocket was ripped which made it hard to consume. If I had it packed to go, I feel like the sauces would’ve spilled out by the time I got home. Worst of it all was the fact that the onions were extremely spicy/raw. I took a bite and the only thing I could taste were the onions (hot sauce taste was negligible due to onions).Sadly will not be returning to this establishment any time soon…
I was suggested by my friend to come to try. Google said open at 12. I came 11:55 thought it will open soon. The guy came here at 12:10. Open the door, nothing prepaid. So I have to wait until 12:35 to get my food ready. Lol. Never come back.
I can't believe how good their food was! I don't usually give 5 star reviews but that is what it wads even though it took a full 30 minutes for me to get my dinner. It was a large chicken with half rice and half fries and fully delicious. The chicken off the sit was fine, kind of dry but that's how I like it, that's what sauce is for. And they give you three kinds. The garlic mayo was utterly delicious with the chicken and fried, quite addicting. The buffalo type of sauce was better, like buffalo but not as tangy, really really good. Then a weird soy type of sauce, kind of sweet, that I didn't like but they give them all separately so that's life. The rice was nice, yellow, fluffy, and I don't usually eat rice, but I was finding myself trying to eat as much as I could with eat piece of chicken I had. Because I wanted to eat it all, because it was that good! The fries were boring but just fine, tiny underdone. Then the pickles and pickled beets and pickled beans was artisan. Loved the contrast in flavor and the tartness, good combination of flavors. So yeah, I was utterly confused that the food was so good, because I've had this persian type of food before, but never was it this good to me! No joke!, Shawarma+ left me jonesing for their beautiful played of pure deliciousness. Literally!
Garbage food, the meat was just sitting in a pan when I get there. Not even freshly Sliced. All the sauces taste like mayo, salty and oily. Zero effort was put into anything that this place provides. Wish I didn't pay for it when I saw how disgusting it looked at the end.
