Been to Aroma Espresso Bar at the Bayview Village Shopping Centre for breakfast. The food was better than what I was expecting. We were two and we had the Smoked Salmon Croissant (5.0), Steak Cheese Melt Croissant (3.5), and we both had the hot chocolate (4.0). The croissants were worth the extra charge. No complains when it comes to the service and the atmosphere, except for the fact that it’s a bit too loud when the... View all feedback.
What Eric Arellano doesn't like about Aroma Espresso:
Dark and depressing. I went in expecting a good cup of coffee, and they couldn 't even provide that. 'House Blend ' was all they had, and it amounted to a cup of weak diner coffee, not something that a coffee specialty location should ever serve. What has sucked the life out this establishment, that comes across as more an employment agency feel? People. People make the difference. Their staff were as dull as the pro... View all feedback.
Small inside, but also some seating area that juts into the mall. Food is tasty and healthy.
I am generally disappointed by Aroma as they removed some of my favorite dishes from the menu. That said, I really enjoyed the haloumi sandwich, and the while the pumpkin cauliflower soup was less exciting, it was still good. The mint tea was delightful. Although I didn't get either the ice-lemon-mint drink or the apple cider, I'm thrilled to know those staples are still there.I was a bit perturbed when I asked for more tahina (small dressing container) and was told they charge for that now. Extra dressing or sauce? They never used to. This is frustrating because as the prices have risen dramatically, they seem to be penny pinching in ways that only put customers off.You still get the little Aroma chocolates, which is a nice touch.Since it is inside the mall, it got very busy at lunch even on a weekday, so I recommend arriving earlier to avoid long wait times.Vegetarian options: The haloumi sandwich is vegetation (not vegan), and they offer gluten-free bread as well.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free bread. This is not a kosher location.
Worse customer service ever had. All tables full of dirty cups and dishes , rude staff, worse coffee ever had . I got diarrhea and severe headache right after I left the store .

What has sucked the life out this establishment, that comes across as more an employment agency feel? People. People make the difference. Their staff were as dull as the product, day dreaming off into their phones while on the job. I 'll avoid this at all costs moving forward, and recommend others do so as well.
A good cafe to grab a quick bite or to sit and linger with a friend. It can get crowded so plan accordingly. I liked that all the ingredients are listed, along with the caloric measurements. Helps people who are keeping a close watch on their diet in choosing an item from the menu.
