I've visited Not Just Butter Chicken about 4 5 times, and it's been a fantastic experience every single time. The standout dish for me has to be the Kadhai Paneer it's a must try. What Tasneem Essaji doesn't like about Not Just Butter Chicken:
The food is tasty, but don't bother with ordering it for delivery. It's never on time. My last order was over an hour late. Even after calling the restaurant after 30 minutes, and them telling us it was only 5-10 minutes away, it was over an hour late. Other places are just as tasty and actually deliver on time. It's soft, flavorful, and complements any main dish wonderfully. And let's not forget about their Dal Makhani it's simply superb. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor, it's a dish that you'll keep coming back for.The owner deserves a special mention for their sweet and humble demeanor, making each visit more enjoyable with their hospitality.Highly recommended!

Hello everyone! So I was at school today, and to end the week off, I decided to go out for lunch with some of my friends, instead of eating in the cafeteria. So one of my friends suggested the day before to eat at Not Just Butter Chicken . I was sceptical at first because I 'm kind of a picky eater, so when I saw that it was an Indian food place, I was concerned because I don 't usually eat Indian food. But then I took a look at their menu, and it actually looked pretty good!So it 's the next day, AKA today, and we get out of school to go to Not Just Butter Chicken for lunch, and when we arrive there, it was a pretty small place, and very humid! But thankfully one of the guys there opened some windows for us. We then ordered our food got a table. Our food then arrived, which it came pretty quick! I got the Curry Chicken Bowl, and when I tried, holy **** it was so good! The sweet, a little spicy, and very saucy chicken was so good and just made me feel amazing! And it came with some rice too, which was also very good! And since the chicken was in what was basically a soup, I tried eating it like that, and that was also good! It had a slight burning feeling on the back of my throat, it was really nice! There were also these 2 other guys there having their lunch, and they also said it was their first time coming here, while also mentioning that the food was amazing for them! And finally, the guy there serving us was very friendly! So if you work or live near Danforth Avenue, then definitely give this place a try! It 's just south of Greenwood Station at the intersection of Danforth Linsmore!
Yum! We had a team building event and boy did they cater. Delicious food and we were all very happy. Thanks!Dietary restrictions: No nuts which was super helpful!
