Fantastic fried chicken vendor. The chicken is bathed in a made-on-site, spicy sauce that adds a fantastic kick to is. The fried brussel sprouts with parmesan were flavourful and meaty. Portions seemed small at first but were filling. Overall a great value and a wonderful find in the downtown core. View all feedback.
Situated inside the assembly hall, you walk through a myriad of smaller individual shops that sell fast food. But this isn't quite fast food, it's glorified fast food that it's on the upper scale. Kinda like a high end good truck. Nice place with shared seating. Had Crispy fried chicken in a bun. Very flavourful, worth a visit. Price was ok for what you get.
Love Chix at Assembly Chef's Hall is absolutely delicious! Ordered the Chicken Sandwich with Fries and Gravy. The sandwich was perfect. No need for extra condiments. Savour the perfectly fried chicken seasoned with sweet BBQ flavour. The fries were crispy and meaty. Their house ketchup is kinda like old fashioned thick thats sweet but also salty.
Wow! I've only ever had the chicken sandwich here, but it's going to be hard to try and make it past that to anything else on the menu. Two pieces of fried chicken lathered in honey spicy sauce and ranch dressing. The flavours just work so well together and this has to be right at the top of the list for one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I only had the sandwich on its own and that was enough for lunch. I was a bit worried that it was overpriced but I couldn't have been more wrong and it's worth every cent. Lunchtimes can be busy here but these guys have the system running like clockwork and I wasn't waiting for much more than 5 minutes. Just awesome.
I love the fried chicken, especially their sweet and hot sauce. The taste is a combination of KFC and Korean fried chicken (also 'KFC ' , more moist than KFC and less sweet than their Korean counterpart. The batter is not thick and the chicken is fresh and tender. However I have to point out, the fried chicken is at the pricier end. I usually order 5 piece chicken or 3 piece chicken with brussel sprouts, and end up paying over $20.
