Guiyangren Huaxi Beef Noodle

The restaurant was very clean and staff were friendly. We got menus upon arrival and most of the noodle dishes had a choice between the yellow normal noodle or white one. I got the hot and sour spicy ground pork with white noodle with no greens (green onion/cilantro). The noodles themselves were decent but not as chewy as I would have hoped. I quite like the soup base and it was not too spicy. I really enjoyed the pickled veggies, added a nice flavour to the noodle soup. I did wish the noodle soup could have arrived a bit hotter. It was a bit too lukewarm for my liking.

SPOILED FOOD ALERT! Ordered their house made pork nuggets and it was completely spoiled that it was stinky. When you broke the nuggets in half, it was black inside. When I politely pointed that out, the waitress’s first reaction was “I can check the security camera for you because we tried the pork just now.” And not “let me check with the kitchen”. Her attitude was very defensive and she was talking very loudly. Only when I insisted on taking this back did she offer to take it off my bill. Not only was the food spoiled, the waitress attitude also made me deeply uncomfortableThe icing on the cake was that it was not taken off the bill, when we made the payment, the spoiled nuggets were still on there. I had to go back to the restaurant afterwards to ask them for a refund.Overall it was a terrible experience and I would highly recommend anyone considering going to this place to take your business elsewhere. This restaurant management really needs to examine their food quality and better train their staff.

Food is around average, a little above. Price is fair, service is great. Extra noodle is free so that's a bonus.
