Contribute FeedbackNorth Kiosk, located on North Wollongong Beach, offers a beachside dining experience with a typical kiosk menu of burgers, salads, wraps, and more at affordable prices. While the Aussie Beach burger received high praise, the salt and pepper squid left much to be desired. Seagulls are a potential threat to unattended food, so be on the lookout! The size and quality of the beef cheeseburger and calamari were disappointing to some diners, while others found the fish and chips to be subpar. On the flip side, the cafe received high marks for its fantastic menu selection, fast service, and customer attention. Additionally, guests appreciated the scenic views, friendly service, and delicious food, especially the satay chicken at Diggies. Overall, North Kiosk offers a picturesque setting with mixed reviews on food quality and service.
Dissapointing experience everytime. Expensive for below average meals. Breakfast isnt great. Ok coffee
My friend and I decided to have a shared tasting platter...which was very nice but quite expensive. Service was friendly but slow to get our platter. Beautiful scenery all around.
A location second to none worldwide would easily be enough to satisfy even the toughest reviewer but when you add fantastic food and service you know you are somewhere special.Regulars abound including me and no wonder, great coffee attentive and friendly staff, ever changing and interesting menu. They have all bases covered with a funky takeaway as well, step out the door and you are on the beach!
While it's a nice place to sit and people watch, the food (nor coffee) just isn't up to scratch. Meals are nice, but nothing to rave about, especially for the price. Service is always good and friendly.
Overall I find diggies menu overpriced for nothing special tasting food. Our last visit was for coffee and cake but after getting a rude shock on paying the bill that our one average slice of citrus tart cost $9 (price not listed on the menu or cake display) won't be doing that again! Small hot chocs are $4.50 (average tasting) small chai latte $4.80 (was nice). Also our tart was brought out first but our coffees took another 15mins to come so had to sit there staring at the tart trying not to eat it all before our drinks came! I suppose you're paying for the location and yes the view is wonderful.
