I have always been impressed with Tarboosh since they first opened at their original location. Their food is authentic and bursting with true flavors. It feels like you're at home and your childhood meals have been brought back to life. The location in Crows Nest is spacious and welcoming, though the only downside is the parking situation. I will definitely be returning on multiple occasions. View all feedback.
What Cordie Jerde doesn't like about Blue Caboose (formerly Meditrainean):
I usually never write a review! But this one deserves a wake up call! Me and my partner wanted to go out and have a meal after work. The service was good, albeit slightly slow. My only suggestion would be to decrease wait times for families with young children.
I am Lebanese and grew up eating traditional food. the samke harra was delicious! the fatoush was wonderful the best I had eaten out. stuffed kibbe tasted delicious and authentic, but had no pine nuts. the eating was simply beautiful and I am happy full (like my wife the service was however quite not existent. there was a dame that served and she rushed and in the kitchen most time, so we couldn't tie her down to bring us a wrong dish or if we wanted to broth. Even now I write this because it is not there where in the restaurant and I want to pay the bill and go. I would have given five stars if it hadn't been existent for...read more
Had a great experience both eating and the staff were great. we were greeted very cordially at the arrival and the seating were also very comfortable. we have the mixed taucher, fattoush, flower cabbage and the mixed plate. love her baba ganoush and garlic dimmer. her huh was great, but that was pretty dry. Apart from that, everything was very pleasant!
It was not aware that the restaurant was moved from willoughby to crows nest and the personal that worked there in the old restaurant. better than in willoughby! friendly staff and good eating made with fresh ingredients. will be back!
