The Robin Hood Inn

We had dinner there last night and. although regulars, this was the best ever. I had prawns for starters followed by the 10 oz rump steak. Probably one of the best steaks that I have ever eaten. Lean and cooked to perfection. My wife had the beef special and she said that it melted in her mouth. All this and always a friendly welcome from Kevin, Carol and their staff.

I made a last-minute decision to dine out for Sunday lunch and was able to secure a table for two. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and came with an ample amount of gravy. The staff were prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and not noisy, and the restaurant was impeccably clean. I would highly recommend this place.

We frequently visit our friends in Swannington and always look forward to having lunch at The Robin Hood. I realize now that I should have left a five-star review sooner, as we consistently receive excellent food and service here. Today's experience was particularly exceptional. Alissa and Tilly always create a warm and welcoming atmosphere as they take care of our table. Despite our lively group, they join in with the fun and maintain a high level of professionalism. For lunch, I decided to try the vegetarian option of beetroot and butternut squash Wellington, and it was one of the best vegetarian meals I have had in a long time. It is truly a delight to find such great service and delicious, high-quality food at a reasonable price. Thank you for another fantastic afternoon.

Myself and partner ate here on a Saturday evening. There is plenty to choose off the menu. However, I chose the Wagyu burger, which was on the specials. The burger was amazing and by far the best I've ever tasted. My partner also enjoyed his pie off the main menu. The service was also excellent as was the red wine . A lovely friendly pub. Thank you

We came here for a roast today. There was plenty of options for starters and a good selection of meats to choose from. We ordered the beef. When it arrived at the table the food was perfect. There was a variety of fresh veg and extra gravy! We were made to feel so welcome and we can’t wait to come back soon. The service was fast and done with a smile. Thank you to all the staff at the Robin Hood, you made our Sunday great!
