I've popped in there twice recently only to buy chips. Both times the chips were really very fresh the portions were generous. I can't say much more as it was only chips but I was impressed enough to give 5 stars. View all feedback.
What jody wilson doesn't like about The Fish Inn:
This restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The chips were reheated, the burger was unappetizing, and even the dog refused to eat it. I also tried the kebab meat, which was even worse than the burger. I will definitely not be returning to this place. View all feedback.
I popped in here with 5 minutes to closing and they took my order and cooked everything from fresh. So friendly and my children said it’s the best they’ve had! Thanks you from visitors to Ashby!
We came here for fish and chips. The service and the food are great. Very friendly couple who are running the business. Will come back next time when in Ashby

Delicious and such good service. A real part of the local community. My fish has always been cooked fresh and they remember everyone's orders.
