Despite some negative encounters, the majority of visitors have had positive experiences and would recommend the pub for its friendly service and variety of food and drink options.
Since moving to the area last year, I have had the pleasure of dining at this pub several times. Whether with friends or solo with a book, I have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service.

This is the best non-Gastro pub you could find. It’s real. It’s traditional. A fab mix of old and new in the decor. Immaculately clean!! I watched the waitress clean every condiment container before replacing neatly on the shelf. A friendly welcome. The food is a perfect testament to that ‘home cooked’ phrase, but no frills. Good honest food and atmosphere. Love it!
