What karenjcrick doesn't like about The Queens Head:
Not waited so long for food ever. Had mortgages approved quicker. Food was actually good when it came. T’was a Saturday evening so the pub was busy, and we had good company, so none of my rambling really matters. Wife was driving so bought me a bit more time to have a few scoops. View all feedback. read moreNestled just a short drive from the Tamworth services, this charming pub offers a delightful escape from traditional roadside dining. Guests rave about the homely atmosphere, friendly staff, and well-kept beers, making it an inviting spot for both locals and passersby. While the food quality receives high praise, particularly for its delicious roasts and homemade options, service can occasionally falter during busy times. Nevertheless, the welcoming vibe and reasonable prices ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether for a cozy Sunday lunch or a nostalgic visit, this pub stands out as a favorite worth returning to.
