We visited the restaurant as a group of 8 people. The restaurant was not very busy, with only a few tables occupied. However, the service was very poor. The staff were more focused on the bar than the kitchen, resulting in us only being asked once for drinks and having to repeatedly request water. This is a really good Japanese restaurant. The menu is extensive and all food made freshly behind the bar. The beer is cold, the food is well presented, and the service is impeccable. Prices are moderate but you have to book on weekends.
Amazing food. Been here a few times and never disappoints. But tonight the staff were so beautifully friendly that it made me write my first ever review. Honestly every waitress we dealt with was so sweet and helpful. Food came out promptly too. Would recommend the beef dish that you cook at your table (starts with an o but I can't for the life of me remember the name) and the mango parfait. Yeah okay the way the room is set out and the decor and stuff could be better. It doesn't look like much but the food and service are awesome.
