Located on the outskirts of North Walsham, this pub/restaurant offers ample parking and a spacious, partially covered garden. A sizable entrance leads to a dedicated restaurant area. They serve a selection of local real ales. We dined in the restaurant, where the food was excellent and the portions generous. My steak dish came with a variety of chips and seasonal vegetables. We visited this restaurant for dinner while we were at Alder Country Park. I called ahead to check for availability, and luckily they had a table for us. I ordered the cheeseburger and chips, while my partner enjoyed the gammon, eggs, and chips, finishing off with a lemon balm dessert. The portion sizes were generous, and the food had a nice homemade pub feel to it. The pub itself was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Very friendly country pub. large beer garden. eat and drink exactly what was needed for a sunny day after a walk along the canal. the food came quickly. dogs welcome in the garden.

I spent a few hours in a lovely beer garden. The pub offers a great selection of craft beers, and although we didn't dine there, the food looked incredibly appetizing and came in generous portions. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this pub where the city meets the countryside.
