There for a BDay party and was really a little shocked. This is my first time here and I was very pleasantly surprised. We drank them from bubbles when our crew comes back, they might have to be in stock. We will see how staff and service are under regular circumstances. So far, so good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Toby's Social Pub:
This is still a place I might go to in North Van. That said, since they changed the menu it has been a lot less appealing. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the food. It would be nice to see more choice for drinks as well. That said, it is a super casual place and I still enjoy grabbing a cider at the pub on the rare occasion. View all feedback.
Yorkshire pudding was a bit over cooked in texture and colour but tasty; burger was ok. Nice to have 20 oz draft beer size available here.
I met friends at Tobys last night because I heard there was live music. We had the best time! The band was great and even packed the dance floor. I had some delicious Pierogies, Calamari and beautiful cocktails. It was such an entertaining and casual atmosphere that everyone felt welcome. Definitely again with more people!
It is always nice to visit pub during the day. It is a totally diff experience/atmosphere. Nice staff, it was very quiet during the day so the orders came also fast!
A nice British inspired atmosphere with friendly staff and alright food for the price. Unfortunately the day we arrived it seemed as tho they were a bit understaffed, so we didn’t get quite the service we expected however the waitresses made up for it by being friendly and apologetic. I hope this is not something that happens often because it is a nice spot for a quick bite to eat or a drink with friends.
Great pub, with a warm welcoming interior. Open mike Friday is a great way to listen to local talent. Decent beer selection and good options off the menu. The za'atar flatbread was as close to a proper Lebanese za'atar manoush'eh, delicious!
