What User doesn't like about Sushi Day:
Good menu - lots of selection. Small place which was really busy, between table service and takeout. Our sushi was okay, reasonable quality. Proportion of rice to filling was a bit higher than you'd like, and there seems to be a heavy reliance on sauce drizzled over sushi. The spicy tuna in particular was so over-coated with sauce that we had to scrape off gobs of two sauces (and the tuna wasn't great quality). Good... View all feedback. You will love the Agedashi Tofu even if you don't like tofu!! I am not a huge fan of tofu but this is one of my favourite dishes ever! Fresh, hot, crispy and the most tasty sauce. All of the sauces are house-made and unique - authentic Japanese restaurant - service is excellent and great food. Definitely one of my very favourite Japanese restaurants on the North Shore. read moreLocated in North Vancouver, this sushi restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with decent decor. While the menu is typical, the beef udon soup stood out for its incredible taste and savory broth. Although slightly tough, the beef was generously portioned. The spicy tuna roll was overwhelmed by sauce, but the tempura remained crispy. With fresh sashimi and good service, this spot is great for a quick meal. The sashimi box, at $18, was a good value. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious sushi, quick service, and reasonable prices, making it a solid choice for a satisfying meal.
