Last week my husband and I felt like the Korean kimchi soup, so we decided to go this place since it's our favorite Korean restaurant in North Vancouver. I went there with my boyfriend and his family and we were waiting for a table and other people as well, no staff member bothers to greet usWe waited for a table for 20 mins and more people came to dine and still no host/hostess. Authentic Korean food. Loved the BBQ dishes. The server are Korean who do not speak a lot of English.
This restaurant is located in lower lonsdale. Has a nice atmosphere and feels spacious. The Bebimbap is good---as most are. But the highlight for me was the fantastic kimchi stew...lots of different types of cabbage..quite spicy. Nice fresh kimchi for appetizer..potato soaked in a sweet sauce stood out. Bean sprouts very fresh. 4 stars. Needed for 5 stars? More meat in bebimbap w more sesame in marinade. Bean sprout appetizer I prefer w sesame marinade. And waiter could have been more attentive
Very good service, fast and friendly. Menu contains a lot of possibilities and supper affordable. Ambience is cozy and well decorated. We asked the green salad as appetizer and it was great , refreshing , delicious dressing and lovely mixing with fruits.Our main dishes were very delicious, beef with noodles and chicken Korean style , both in a hot plate.Aside dishes as compliment , Korean style pickles are a plus!!! Delicious.Waiter and waitress are so professional and very friendly and helped us to have a great choice. Will go back soon
Excellent Korean cuisine, especially the marinaded beef. Pleasant atmosphere, good service. Abundant portions. Don't miss this gem if you like Korean food.
