A&W Restaurant - North Vancouver

A&W has always been one of my favourites...since childhood, back when we had drive-in service at A&W's. Nowadays, I park and go in and Mount Seymour Road is a handy location for me when I am in Parkgate Village shopping or doing a day at the Spa. Of course I get hungry and the Uncle Burger is now my very favourite pure hamburger. The service at this location is bar none. Very friendly, fast and efficient. The new UPDATED (back to the old days) trays, service dishes, etcetera is such a delight, when I eat there at A&W. Any of the food I choose at A&W is served hot, very tasty and filling. Oh! You must try their breakfast!! This is the best deal in town for breakfast. Try the Canadian...2 eggs, choice of toast, bacon, sausages and pan fries You may also opt jams, honey or peanut butter, included. If you are in that area this is your go-to for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don't pass it by!!!

We live nearby & love to go here for breakfast. My favourite is their big breakfast combo & I switch coffee to OJ & ask to be served in their frosted mug. The best!

This is a western Canadian institution. My mom used to take me and all of my brothers and sisters to the A&W drive-in for teen burgers when I was little. It was a big deal then, and it's only gotten better with time. The Uncle sirloin burger is my favourite - a delicious thick beef patty and lots of fresh veggies. The onion rings are to die for, and the homemade root beer in an icy mug is the bomb. Personally I love that they only deal with select ranches that raise their beef without any added hormones or steroids, and that they post all of their nutritional information on their web site. You know exactly what you are eating.

So.usually I'm pretty satisfied with the burgers hereI mean it's fast food, I don't have high hopes.

Very nice service. Washrooms, indoor and outdoor dining. Long hours. Ooh and a drive through!
