Stopped after a day of hiking Starved Rock and it was a perfect nearby option. Great location in downtown. Friendly staff and good drink pours and food. Excellent service and prices... exactly what we wanted after a good hike. Very recommended!

We took our entire staff here after our team building. The staff was friendly and very courteous for our 30-size party. The food came hot and fast and the service was amazing. We recommend Joy Eds!

The first time there for dinner and it was moderate. Ruben Sandwich was weak on the meat and the tacos, “where is the beef”. $24 would have got a lot more, but it had to try. Expect a fast snack and no satisfying dinner.

Had nachos and a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was great. The nachos looked like they had torn hamburgerpatties with their hand and were creepy, but tasted good. The waitress was a bit inattentive, though we were the only people there for most time. We stopped in the restaurant and set ourselves in the hope that the TV would have the bear game. They have a TV, but we were told that they were literally unable to switch to another station because it was a Samsung TV. This makes no sense for about 4 different reasons if you have a TV, make sure it works and that you can show the most popular stations. The game wasn't on something unholy.

Really nice waitress. The food was good (Wednesday fried chicken special) but not the Reuben…my boyfriend said it was the worst cut of corned beef he’s ever had. I had a little piece and it was so chewy that I couldn’t eat it. Other then that everything else was okay.
