The Hunting Lodge - North Tyneside

We began our evening with drinks at the bar, enjoying the lovely atmosphere before moving on to the lounge for our Christmas meal. The tables were beautifully set and the food was exceptional and plentiful, with extra gravy available. Hats off to the chef for cooking our meals to perfection. The staff were extremely accommodating, even providing table service for our drinks. We all agreed that our meal was delightful and had a truly special day. Kudos to everyone at the Hunting Lodge for a job well done.

Today, I went to the Hunting Lodge for my Christmas lunch with some close friends. The ambiance of the room was cozy and the staff were excellent as always. The food was outstanding, especially the turkey with roasties. It was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of it. I was feeling full halfway through, but it tasted so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. Kudos to the chef for such a fantastic meal. Overall, it was a wonderful Christmas day.

This restaurant is a charming spot. The staff always make you feel welcome and taken care of. The food and drinks are consistently delicious and reasonably priced. I have never had any complaints.

This establishment has really gone up in my estimations over the past year or so. Great place for a meal or a drink with the friendliest staff going

First of all this place needs refurbishing. It was cold and dreary. The food was not at all nice. Well overcooked crispy prawns, so much so they had to be cracked open. The salmon was ok but had slimy skin and was served with an unappetizing splodge of mash and a bit of broccoli, the sauce was tasteless. The Christmas pudding was awful, soft and slimy in the mouth with the smallest amount of custard. Won't be going back.
