as far as guilty joys go, this is one of the best places in syrakus to spoil them. their biscuits, donuts, baked and cakes are among the best in syrakus. they offer a great selection, and their staff are friendly and helpful. they also serve as a little novelty Utica style tomato cake. there are some tables inside and outside where they can eat, and they can buy drinks including coffee. I've been coming here since I was a kid and when I moved back after being away for 7 years I was very excited when I walked in the bakery again. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived. I got a pound of mixed cookies and one after another it was a let down. Either too dried out or out of date or something. Dry baked goods, workers behind the counter would rather talk to each other instead of waiting for customers.

Love geddes bakery! everything is done daily. always fresh and price is great
Geddes is one of those if not the best bakeries in cny. this would be five stars if they would realize that the people baked goods are buying in the last 8:00 clock and have enough product to keep at least half the day. lack of product availability creates no desire, but disappointment.
This bakery is top notch. They are extremely friendly and everything I have ever ordered has been quality. I specifically love their cannoli's and their banana cream pie!!
