What Maja Borkowski doesn't like about Saba Rock:
Shocked to be told by our server that the dinner was $165 pp without advanced notice. Further then they charged $100 per shot each for 2 Mount Gay rum shots. We inquired about the party upstairs if there was a ticket fee and told no...just order off the menu. No countdown at midnight and could not see the fireworks. 20% service charge plus tip. Excellent, very impressive place and the staff are attentive.
Best rare filet we have had in the Virgin Islands. Salmon was very good also. Seasoned staff was helpful. You might want to wait for the sun to drop behind the mountain before taking your hat off. Make reservations in advance but not before 20-30 before sunset.
Gorgeous location and wonderful rebuild. The architecture is stunning. Service was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. Menu was small but well prepared.
Wish that Open Table could take reservations for more than 8 people. We had to make 2 reservations with 2 different accounts to make it work for us. Love Saba Rock!!!
