Had a wonderful time when I visited here, the team was very accommodating and there was an all round happy atmosphere. Gemma cooked the best French fried Frog legs I’ve ever tasted, whilst Markie made the best orange juice and lemonade *minus lemonade* in town! View all feedback.
What bobviv doesn't like about The Old Colonial:
Oh dear came hear a few years ago and had poor food, Thought we would try it again for Sunday lunch. Ordered two at 1.20pm. At 1.50 I asked about the food waitress said 'you will get it when its ready '! It came 10 minutes later so maybe my request had moved it along! Had a lovely meal and drinks with family on our holiday. Brilliant customer service by the staff, food was tasty and hot, with quick service. Bar staff were fun kept a bright atmosphere. Thank you!
Polite attentive staff. Good to see the manager out on the floor. Great atmosphere, and food was really good. A really lovely evening spent here.

Great food and good value. The drinks are fairly priced as well. Bar staff are friendly too.
It was my Aunties 90th birthday meal ,the staff were absolutely brilliant in all they done make it a good experience for her, will defiantly be eating there again , loved it.
