What User doesn't like about The Glass Maker:
Awful service, the manager is awful she acts too big for her boots and definitely has terrible customer service, use to be a nice place to go before she took over as manager View all feedback.
I can't go wrong with spoons. eating is good drinks are cheap as chips. service is always friendly, but sometimes unorganized.
A typical spoon pub reasonable eating and cheap alcohol staff, where friendly, but seemed behind with clearing tables etc.
Our first visit and very impressed beautiful staff and beautiful warm breakfast
The staff were aggressive. More worried about a Head Office complaint then providing good customer service. Guess what? They got a Head Office complaint. The Manager was really poor today. Looks like she does not spend much time front of house. I will never go there again.
My 14-year-old daughter and her friend tried to eat at this pub today but were denied entry because they had to be 16 years old to dine without an adult. They were able to eat there yesterday, but I was told by the server that a new rule had been implemented. When I asked to speak to the manager, they did not have the necessary experience to handle my complaint. It is confusing why there was a sudden change in policy, especially since they were only looking to order a wrap and chips and were wearing face masks. They were not trying to order alcohol. It seems counterintuitive for businesses to turn away potential customers, especially during these difficult times where they could use all the income they can get.
