While it boasts a variety of vegan cakes and appealing milk alternatives, some offerings, like the cakes, may arrive frozen, disappointing patrons. The café's crowded atmosphere, exacerbated by limited space, makes navigation challenging, especially for those with strollers or mobility aids. Although staff is noted for their politeness, challenges in coordination and cleanliness clearly affect service quality. Despite its location in the heart of Clevedon and potential for a cozy gathering spot, the café could greatly benefit from improved organization and an interior makeover to enhance customer satisfaction and overall ambiance.
Very hot inside, seems pointless having AC on, and the doors open. Service a little on the weird side, strange that there was a huge queue, still only one till, and the other till was being used as a shelf for cakes??
Good coffee, great food as per usual for Coffee #1. However, the atmosphere was lacking and not as good as other Coffee #1 stores. Worth a visit for the coffee and food.
Cute bookish atmosphere with a close proximity to B&M carpark.
Went in at about 9AM this morning where there were a lot of customers and one barista who was the very definition of putting your head down and getting on with it. He served everyone quickly and efficiently and managed to be pleasant as well. This is my local coffee shop and I’m never disappointed. Well done, it makes a difference:
Visited 3 times in the last month. Service always efficient friendly and the coffee the right strength for my tastes. What sets this chain apart from most of the others is the quality of the food. It’s more than edible. I’m actually looking forward to trying out the rest of what they have to offer, having sampled most of the cakes pastries. Looking forward to my next visit.
